Event Planning 101

The Baby Shower
Those of you who know me know that I am the QUEEN of planning, Road Trips, Vaca's, Romantic Dinners if you are my girl I have aided in planning a significant event in your life. My most recent event to date, was my girlfriend Sheena's Baby Shower. When Sheena called to give me the news that she was expecting, I was all too excited I don't even recall her asking me to plan her shower, I just did. So I am going to use Sheena's Baby Shower as a guide to teach you all how to plan the perfect Baby Shower...

Location, Location, Location
People love to fantasize, pick a location that allows your guest imagination to flow.

The Cake
When Planning a baby shower the cake is extremely important, the cake is a conversation piece, allow a piece of that conversation to go home with your guest and your shower will be the talk of the town for many months to come.

The Food
Everyone enjoys good food, but most importantly people appreciate the presentation. Tin foil pans and aluminum foil covers are a major NO NO. Also avoid full size plates, and paper goods. Silverware and glass plates are a must.

The Drinks
At a Baby Shower things need to remain classy serve your guest all types of wine NO HARD LIQUOR, have your glasses of wine already served in small glasses to keep spills to a minimum.

Thank Yous
Present your guest with a token of your appreciation in a surprise element, I mean when you got your gift it was wrapped so nicely shouldn't theirs be.

and whats inside should be something to make everyone say AWWWWW... Like these personalized M&Ms

The Guest
Don't be afraid to be selective with whom you invite to your events, select an older mature crowd of adults and predominately females to keep the chatter about last nights game to a minimum.

If you follow these guides lines you are sure to end the night with TWO PROUD SOON TO BE PARENTS... As I did...

Thanks Sheena and Aaki for the opportunity...

As I said before Sheena and Aaki it was truly an honor to be involved with such an important part of your life...

H... I DONT THINK ITS ABOUT THE DOLLAR AMOUNT ITS ABOUT THE GIFT, I THINK LIFE INSURANCE IS SUCH A MATURE GIFT OR EVEN A SAVINGS BOND TOWARDS A COLLEGE EDUCATION YOU DONT HAVE TO SPEND ALOT IT CAN BE STARTED WITH 30 TO 50 DOLLARS... IF YOU WANT TO GET CLOTHES I SAY GO FOR 6 TO 12 MONTHS CHILDREN GROW SO FAST, WHAT ABOUT BUYING A HAMPER AND PUTING BABY HANGERS IN IT, BABY DETERGENT, PAMPERS AND SLEEPERS... ONE UNIQUE GIFT THAT SHE GOT WAS A BABY WIPE WARMER : )I THOUGHT THAT WAS DIFFERENT LASTLY MONEY IS ALWAYS USEFUL...

THANK 4 THE SUPPORT S. GLAD YOU ENJOYED

When I had my daughters baby shower we gave each guest a little baby basket filled with candy that each guest could reuse and fill with cosmetics, nail polishes, etc.
